How much are the tickets for the talks and workshops?
Entry to the festival is free of charge and gives access to all of the book stalls and several of the scheduled events.
Some talks or workshops have a small fee £5.00 (plus 10% admin fee) and advance booking is required for all talks and workshops. If you plan to attend a free session, please book a ticket for that too (you won’t be charged) but spaces are limited. To book, please visit: Gigantic Tickets and secure your place.
I would like to volunteer to help at the festival. How can I get involved?
Volunteers are warmly welcomed. From help on the day of the event, or with marketing, promotion and funding in advance, your help will be appreciated. Please email volunteers@nottinghambookfestival.org and we will be in touch.
I am an author, can I bring my books?
Authors and books are at the heart of the festival, however, we are now are fully booked for book retailers and author stands. We’d love to see you next year! Please contact admin@nottinghambookfestival.org to express your interest for 2027.
How is the festival funded?
We are proud to be funded through the National Lottery Community Funding and are deeply grateful to other sponsors and donors.

What facilities are available?
The Broadway Cinema is fully accessible, with level access lifts and ramps to all floors. The entrance, toilets and cafe are all fully accessible. The Broadway café will be open until 9pm, serving a range of light bites, meals and drinks, throughout the day, including vegan and/or gluten free.
How do I get there?
The Broadway is located at: 14-18 Broad Street, Nottingham, NG1 3AL
Customers can securely park at the Lace Market Car Park (NG1 1QE) or Broadmarsh Car Park (NG1 7FE). The Broadway Cinema is part of a Nottingham City Council-funded scheme to provide discounted parking to patrons upon validation of your parking ticket at our box office.
If you are travelling by bus from outside the city centre, the closest bus stops are located at Fletcher Gate, or Lower Parliament Street. To find out if your service visits one of these stops, please visit the NCT website. Cash or card?
The Broadway itself, including the cafe, is a card-only venue, though some of our book stalls may accept cash.
